For everyone's safety, the majority of the spa water has been drained and the filtration system has been thoroughly back washed. The sensors are being cleaned and tested right now as I type. The spa will open this afternoon but I cannot give a definite time as it will depend if the new water balances and the sensors working properly.
The Board apologizes for the inconvenience. We know exactly when the fluid was poured into the spa and our cameras are very revealing. The person responsible will be called in for a hearing.
Unfortunately I need to remind everyone of the following pool rules:
- No glass in the pool area at anytime. If glass breaks in the pool area we will be forced to close the pool for another 18 months until it is safe to drain it without risk of a pool pop.
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on the Community Center Property.
- No alcohol anywhere on the community center premises.
- Do not use the side gates as an entrance.
The Board was hoping to have a more "relaxed" enforcement this summer but clearly the pool monitors will have to remain vigilant so everyone can enjoy the pools safely for the summer.
