As you may know, the repairs to the Wolf Creek pools and spa are now complete. Unfortunately, the issues related to COVID-19 are continuing and have an impact on the Association's ability to reopen the pools. As a result, the Board of Directors held an Executive Session meeting on August 5th to discuss the possibility of opening the pools. After much deliberation and in consideration of the following concerns: advice of the Association's legal counsel, liability, lack of availability of insurance coverage for viral exposure and protection of the Association's members' physical and financial well-being; the Board has decided to have the pools remain closed at this time. The Board will continue to review County, State and Federal guidelines and will open the pools as soon as it is safe to do so. Also, it is important to note that although a relatively low percentage of homeowners use the pools, all the members would be responsible for the liability, in the case of a lawsuit or other financial loss as a result of the reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lastly, the Board members all live in Wolf Creek as well and would like to be able to have their families use the pools. We are all frustrated and disappointed that we are not able to open the pools. Thank you for your patience and understanding of this difficult decision. We hope to have better news soon.
