The Wolf Creek Community Center office is closing at 3 PM on Wednesday, March 31st. We apologize for the inconvenience.
It's official! Riverside County is now in the Red Tier and that permits commercial pools to open with modifications. I have reached out to our legal counsel for guidance on those modifications. Our pool heaters will be fired up in preparation of opening. We are moving as quickly as possible to open up, thank you for your patience!
Brad Sullivan, Board President Hi everyone, at last nights meeting of the Wolf Creek Board of Directors, discussion was held regarding opening our pools for the summer. In anticipation of Riverside County going from the Purple Tier to the Red Tier ( permits limited indoor dining, gyms and shopping ) the Board has directed John and I to work with the Health Department guidelines to open the pools for the summer. This decision was based on the 80% decrease in Covid hospitalizations in Riverside County, the decreased infection rate and the availability of vaccination. It is anticipated that Riverside County will change tiers in the next 7-10 days. The pools will likely be available on a reservation system as we will have to limit the users to 25% of normal, set periods of time throughout the day so as many residents as possible will have the opportunity to enjoy the pool each day. A decision on opening the gym has not yet been made due to its small size. Once gym guidelines are posted from the Health Department; Wolf Creek will attempt to open the gym as well. Please know this is a fluid situation based upon activity levels of Covid and is subject to change. It is our hope that the statistics continue to improve and our limitations reduced/removed. Since these changes are dependent on Government approvals, please know we intend to open at the earliest date possible. More details to follow as they develop.
