Hi everyone. I (Board President, Brad Sullivan) met with the excavator today to begin the final steps required by Building and Safety prior to their inspecting the area and issuing a permit to begin repairs. While there we discovered a small leak from the new drought tolerant water system that requires repair prior to working in the trench. That repair will begin Wednesday at 7 AM.
On Thursday morning we will have the necessary material to protect the remaining pipes while removing the cement surrounding the trench as required by the city. On Friday final stabilization items will be taken care of and the city notified we are ready for inspection.
Once the permit is in hand, I anticipate it will take 2-3 weeks to complete repairs and re-open the pools. Again thank you everyone for remaining patient. Our hands are tied as to when the City will sign off. We are taking all steps to expedite these repairs while assuring they are completed to the highest standard.
