Monday, Adams Landscaping will be in to replace the irrigation supply for the entire plant area in the pool and to perform landscaping including new plants. That is going to be a several day task.
The pool tiles are responding well to the chemical treatment to clean and seal so we are moving in a positive direction there.
During the first week of May, the new pool deck will be sealed with a product that requires 7 days to cure. During that time, no work can be done in the pool area. Instead, focus will be changed to deal with damage to our parking lot and drains from the heavy equipment as well as the hydrant line break that undermined the north end of the building.
When we can get back into the pool area, an attempt to diamond pad the spa will be made. A one day job if all goes well. If the plaster is beyond repair, the spa will need to be demo'd and rebuilt. That is a 1 week job and a two week cure process.
At the same time the spa is being tended to, all of the patio furniture requires steam cleaning to remove all of the dirt, dust and many spiders that have made it home as well as being treated to avoid sun damage. In addition, the entire grass area will require servicing of all three BBQ's and cement work, showers, bathrooms and fixtures. We also hope that the new north side exit gate will be ready for installation.
We are definitely heading toward the finish line. Still a lot of unknowns. As I have repeatedly mentioned, I can't give a reasonable timeline until we start servicing the plaster in the spa as that has the potential to delay opening for an additional three weeks.
All pool plumbing has been operating under full pressure for over a month with no leaks or issues.
Everyone's cooperation and understanding is gratefully appreciated.
